"March for Peace"
Contributed by
Sima Baher, Uruguay
This painting is a representation of the principle of the equality of women and men, the role of women in establishing world peace, and the specific mission expressed in the Bahá’í writings for her to do so.
A group of women below a banner of equality and the flag of peace represents the woman throughout history. In this day, it is the woman – who has not had the same opportunities as the man – who nevertheless has the great mission and privilege to be a peacemaker for humanity.
